When Falcon Heavy launched on February 6, 2018, SpaceX broke some records. It became the most powerful rocket in operation by a factor of two. This was also the first time we saw two side boosters returning back to the landing site, side by side. It also deployed a Tesla Roadster which will theoretically enter an elliptical orbit around the Sun. I’ve watched it many times over with my 8-year-old son… each time just as impressive – it feels like watching something straight out of the movies.

Here’s a tribute video from SpaceX of the Falcon Heavy & Starman launch. Pay close attention to the last few seconds of the video… how beautiful is that?
