I’ve come to realize that, over years of turning things into a habit with intent, it takes effort to get back into them when they break—all the more reason to guard those important day-to-day activities that are meaningful. Knowing in advance the struggle it will take to get back on can perhaps motivate you to stay on and do whatever it takes. Fight for it.
