Ah yes, the dreaded message “Windows is unable to install to the selected location. error 0x80300024” appears. Even after you partitioned the hard drive you wanted to install Windows on, you still get this error message – fear not. When I recently came upon this message all I did was go to Bios and reset to default settings, saved and quit. I then ran the install process and installation started as expected.
