Always Re-evaluate

by | Feb 9, 2021 | Thoughts | 0 comments

Things change, but things don’t change. It is inevitable that the things around us, things out of our control, will change. How we respond to that doesn’t always change appropriate to the situation. While habits can be useful, they can also hinder us from being optimal. Be mindful of what is happening and adapt promptly. Imagine having developed the habit of wearing your favorite outfit all summer long and dressing this way into the fall. I don’t think this would be as pleasant of an experience if you had a plan in place to adapt to the changes. Predictable changes are the easiest to tackle; it’s the ones we can’t predict that will test our ability to re-evaluate and act upon in a timely and efficient manner.
