Kubrick Beyond Perspective

I’m a sucker for composition, staging, framing and bringing focus to a point of interest whether it be in a video, a photo or perhaps a physical space. It’s an art in of itself and can mean the difference between something that will be remembered or forgotten.

I recently came upon a video (embedded below) that I thought was interesting and worth checking out to anyone interested in this subject. Juan Antonio Moreno Mateos’ analysis of Stanley Kubrick‘s composition style is a wonderful observation of this art form.

For those interested, I posted an article before about composition in photos: 9 Composition Photography Tips From Steve McCurry.
