We’ve seen them in movies, in prototype demonstrations, and in expos displaying remarkable potential. The Roomba was, in a sense, the first step into bringing
robots into homes however that was just a vacuum. Kuri is a type of robot that can be brought in as companions, helpers and literally an addition to the family. I have to admit that after seeing what Kuri is, I can’t help but think of Teddy from the A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) movie. In terms of looks, Kuri slightly resembles Eve from the Wall-E movie. Well.. the arms and roundish head at least.
Kuri is “a loyal little home robot with a cheerful personality” created by Mayfield Robotics. It can answer questions, watch over your home, monitor your pets, interact and lots more. Mayfield Robotics is breaking barriers here by taking it to the next level. First of many I believe to make their way into households across the world eventually.
