So if you’ve stored your tablet for an extended period without charging or using it, there is a good chance that your battery went into a state of deep depletion. It seems that some owners have luck rescuing their devices from this state. After reading through various threads and tips, the recommended things to try are to press and hold the Power button (located on the upper-right edge) for approximately 20 seconds or until the device power cycles. If that doesn’t do anything, you may have to “trickle” charge your device by plugging into a USB port on your computer instead of a wall plug.
